Zoom MS-60B – FuzzPhase Patch

I recently purchased the Zoom MS-60B which replaced so many pedals on my board. I thought that I would share some of my custom patches for the unit so that others can try them out. For this post I am sharing a custom FuzzPhase patch. This is not my concoction. This effect chain was an effect brought to me by GLEN18INCHSPICA on the Talk Bass Forum. I like the sound of this effect chain so much that I had to post it.

Unit Effect Settings

Bass Muff:

  • Gain: 67
  • Tone: 80
  • Level: 56
  • Mode: bsbst
  • Balance: 50

Splitter:

  • Hi: 60
  • Lo: 20
  • Freq: 160hz
  • Level: 50

Phaser:

  • Rate: 14
  • Color: 4 stg
  • Level: 70

Adding Bass Octave

Just when you think that it couldn’t get any better… As good as the FuzzPhase chain is all by itself, I had to add a Bass Octave to it for what I call FuzzPhaseO. I think that this is so sweet!!

Bass Octave:

  • Oct: 80
  • Dry: 100
  • Tone: 8
  • Low: 3
  • Mid: 4
  • Level: 100
